Vercel React Best Practices
Developer Tools
A rating
License: MIT (SKILL.md and repository README, rev 063bee9)
An official Vercel React and Next.js performance ruleset covering request waterfalls, bundle size, server and client performance, and re-renders. Use it to produce located recommendations before code review or refactoring, not as direct guidance for Laravel Blade or every frontend framework. This listing checks version 1.0.0 at commit 063bee9. The skill consists mainly of Markdown rules and examples, with no executable scripts of its own; that does not establish correctness or security certification for generated edits.

Usage instructions
The download is the complete original repository ZIP at fixed commit 063bee94c3f4df8453406c830b0a7df0f2860278, not a single-skill package. Take only skills/react-best-practices, retaining its rules, AGENTS.md and README. Do not enable other deployment or automation skills from the archive.
- Read SKILL.md and the rules first. Confirm that the project uses React or Next.js and check each suggestion against the installed dependency versions.
- For a Claude Code project, copy the directory to
.claude/skills/vercel-react-best-practices/ with SKILL.md at its root. Verify skill loading separately for other hosts; this site has not performed cross-platform execution tests. - Start read-only: “Review data fetching and re-render issues in src/components. List files, lines, rationale and suggestions without editing files.”
- Before refactoring, commit or back up current changes, then approve edits individually. Run existing tests, builds and performance measurements and retain a before-and-after comparison.
Safety review
Rating A is this site's static editorial assessment of the pinned commit, not security certification. Review covered the skill instructions, compiled guidelines and rule directory; no installation or project refactoring was executed. The directory has no standalone execution scripts, but its documents contain code examples and an agent may still edit files or run project commands from them.
- Authorize only the intended code directory. Model services may receive read code context; do not submit secrets or private business data.
- Performance recommendations are not universal. Review caching, concurrency and authentication examples before using them in production.
- Keep diffs and run tests. Respect project permission boundaries and review code changes and dependency installation separately.
