Important limitations
One business process can use multiple tasks; check retry metering. Connections grant real account permissions. Do not let a model autonomously email, delete records or initiate payments.
When to choose an alternative
Compare n8n for self-hosting when engineering and operations are available, or Make for visual branching. Self-hosting still requires credentials, logs and recovery maintenance.
